Installation Requirements for Grandeur Wine Cabinets
Grandeur Cellars requires specific installation requirements for your wine cabinet in order for it to function correctly.
Clearance Above Your New Wine Cabinet
All Wine cabinets will come with a steel L bracket that will attach to the wall and your wine cabinet to prevent the units from falling over when you open the door. The wine cabinet must be anchored to the wall.
Since the cabinets are top-vented, you need to have a ceiling height of 18 inches higher than the cabinet. That will allow enough space above the cabinet for proper airflow, which helps the cooling unit to work properly.
A Dedicated Outlet
A dedicated outlet is necessary. Once you have the right space with the required ceiling height and your outlet is ready, you can choose which cabinet you like.
It is up to you to hire your own electrician. Keep in mind that the cost depends on several factors, including the location of the electrical box in your home, the difficulty to get wiring over there, or whether they can take an existing outlet and turn it into a dedicated one. It is essential to talk about these things with your electrical contractor.
We Can Help Install Your Electrical Outlet
